As I am covered in wrapping paper, unwrapping my most favorite gift in the world, I am getting extremely excited.
Woo-Hoo!! I got a bow and arrow.
I had asked my Grandma Bucklin for one and now she had given it to me.
It was a new kind and it was build for shooting very far. The box said you could shoot an arrow 100 feet up into the air.
Here I am putting an arrow into the string on the bow, taking my first shot.
My first shot went, oh, I don't know, five feet at most.
I had just shot an arrow and this was probably one of the arrows that went about 12 feet then sunk to the ground.
Sometimes I strung the arrow badly and it didn't go as far.
Once I got the hang of it, they went FLYING at least 50 feet.
Thank you, Grandma Bucklin. I really love this gift and you too.

Hey Buddy,
Wow you had quite the adventure on Sunday. It does not surprise me though that you took it like a champ.
I can't wait to check out the cool scar next time I see you.
Okay, don't give up on the sticks, but be a little more careful with them.
